Hi I’m Joanne Hagerty, 

My career started as a marketer, building and growing businesses across textiles, tourism and food and drink. I helped companies identify new opportunities and build products and service that met ever-changing consumer and market needs.

In these roles I became fascinated by innovation and I started exploring the processes and practices that set successful organisations apart. This led to me undertaking a Saltire Fellowship at Babson College in 2010, Babson is the #1 college for enterpreneurship in the United States. Here, I immersed myself in learning about innovation processes and entrepreneurial growth. The most important thing I learned is that innovation is a practice that can be taught, shared and embedded in individual practice and organisations.

Since 2010 I have worked to support the growth of innovative enterprises. I spent around 7 years working with Life Science Startups and accidently formed an innovation training company that soon became a full time job. Ever since then I have worked in collaboration with others to share, embed and implement innovation practices with individuals across all sectors and at all levels.

I deliver professional facilitation, training and events for companies, communities, universities and public sector organisations to bring innovation to life and drive inidivual and societal impact through my work. I love helping people equip themselves and rise to meet the challenges of the future through innovation.
